Multiculturality in Mehmet Ulusoy's theatre

The multiculturality elements and aspects in Mehmet Ulusoy's theatre, have been analyzed in this thesis. His family roots, primary education, theatre education are briefly mentioned in the first part, in order to better understand himself and how the idea of multiculturality appeared in his mind. His work as an assistant and as an actor with other important directors are referred in the second and third parts as a source of nourrishment that lie behind his theater understanding. In the fourth part, the career, expanding through forty five years of experience, mostly as a director, has been researched in line with the practices of actors, stage designers and playwrights as well as the views of theater theorists and critics. Finally, in the last part, by laying emphasis on the term of multiculturality, elements of multiculturality both in French and world theater are revealed and resolved.
