Concepts in Nuri Pakdil's essays

The main purpose of this study is to present a semantic study by examining in detail the unusual words, concepts and phrases used by Nuri Pakdil, the poet, journalist, writer and thinker who are still alive, in the works he wrote in the essay type. The scope of the study is composed of works written by Nuri Pakdil as well as other works of the author and literature written about Pakdil. The concepts used by Nuri Pakdil are included in the thematic framework created through descriptive analysis and examined through the processes of identification and interpretation. In this sense, our method will have the starting points of comprehensiveness and objectivity. Our findings at the end of our study are as follows: Nuri Pakdil is a writer and thinker who has a unique stance and discourse in the recent period of Turkish thought and literature. For him, words and concepts are the carriers of consciousness that the author imposes meaning with his actionable features rather than thinking. Because for Pakdil, writing is the only universal tool that he has to change and transform the life he is disturbed from, and even the world with a stimulated and angry consciousness, ideologically and socially. Nuri Pakdil, to express his thoughts with the discourse he chose does not rely on the old, always in the pursuit of innovation. He uses the concepts he uses with his counterparts in his world of thought to give them new connotations and meanings. Pakdil presented his idea of Westernization and alienation as a universal ideal, indigenous thought, which is a solution for all the exploited peoples by putting an aesthetic discourse. Nuri Pakdil, who draws attention with his Islamic attitudes and rhetoric in addition to his thoughts and works, has been rejected by some poorly understood circles.
