Minister of Health and Social Assistance Ekrem Hayri̇ Üstündağ's life and his political activities (1885-1956)

Ekrem Hayri ÜSTÜNDAĞ is a well rounded intellectual who born in the late period of the Ottoman Empire, who saw the fall of emperorship, who witnessed the creation of the Republic, who was an active participant on the journey to multi-party system, and who had experienced both of the political power and the opposition. Ekrem Hayri ÜSTÜNDAĞ is a good doctor, a father who lost his two sons, a benefactor citizen, a commander who attend to First World War, a person who goes from opposition to the power and then returns again to the opposition just because of his moral compass. This thesis's aim is to look at the history by the witnessing of a man who was always a leading actor during the breaking points in his time.
