Political Intellıgence as the Type of Strategic Intelligence The main aim of this study is to examine the political intelligence phenomenon which has a fuzzy definition in the collective connotations of the political phenomenon and to examine it from a wide perspective. Another important aim is to determine the conceptual and theoretical boundaries of the political intelligence phenomenon by using the interdisciplinary point of view of g strategic intelligence which is accepted as an intelligence analysis method in the literature. First, the concept of strategy, which the states directed their politics, was examined and the effect of the relations in international relations and its position were explained in this study. Then, a general investigation has been made up to the point where the concept of intelligence has reached today. This review was completed by evaluating the issues of intelligence in the light of current examples. In the second part of our study, the concept of political intelligence was defined in the light of the interdisciplinary view of strategic intelligence, its history was formed, its aims and objectives were mentioned, and political intelligence practices which pose significant dangers in the security of states in the history were mentioned. The main findings have shown that the existence and the distinction of the threats and dangers that have domestic and foreign political influence on the world continues today. In this respect, the relationship between political intelligence and strategic intelligence relationship with each other, relationship and need for each other has been evaluated. In the last part of the study, it is explained which basic political parameters should be used in the process of obtaining the political intelligence phenomenon and it is investigated why these limits are limited by the use of these parameters. The main key findings have revealed that the strategic intelligence analyzes that will be achieved by using these basic political analysis parameters determined in this study will provide an understanding of the threats that may be directed to the internal and external political security of the states and will contribute to the foreseeing the activities which may directly or indirectly pose a risk to the security of the states.
