A study on the concept of children and childhood in Şükrü Erbaş poetry

Şükrü Erbaş is one of the original and productive poets of modern Turkish poetry. This study aims at exploring and interpreting the concepts of "child" and "childhood" in Şükrü Erbaş poetry in broadframe. The fact that poet's poetry is rich in terms of the concept of "child" has laid the groundwork for such a study, and the rich topics allow me to look multifaceted.. When we look at Şükrü Erbaş's poetry in terms of thematic features, the main themes that stand out as a reflection of the psychological background and direction of all humanbeings. Our work ais to capture the childs gaze in Şükrü Erbaş's poems and to determine the meaningful depth and connotation power of these two concepts as a theme and image in poetry by considering the concept of "child" and "childhood".
