Poetry macmua called Mecmu`a-i Eş`ar that is numbered 59 at Ali Nihat Tarlan part in Süleymaniye Library (141a-214a) (Transcription, text criticism)

Magazines help researchers in many ways such as pointing out the preferences of readers, containing new documents not reflected in the history of literature, contributing to style studies, providing an insight into the literary characteristics of poets, and acting as a source of reference for the organization of poets? collections of poems. Furthermore, poem magazines are important especially because they include poems not contained in the poets collections of poems. In this thesis, the folios 141a to 214a of the XVI-century poem magazine called Mecmû`a-i Eş`âr, which is kept in Number 59 of the Ali Nihat Tarlan collection in the Süleymaniye Library of Manuscripts, were presented as a transcription. For the purpose of proofing the poems, the criticism of the text was made by a comparison with poems included in the collections. The magazine in question was introduced by its own features and information contained in it. Moreover, some information was given about the concept of ?magazine? and also the biographies of poets whose poems are included in the magazine were presented to provide understanding of the work as a whole.Key words: Macmua, XVI.century, Divan poetry
