Korean War in Ulus and Zafer newspapers

It has been stated that the Korean War could be the cause of the Third World War, but this scenario would not strong resistance encountered by the Soviets. It has been stated that soldiers acquiring modern warfare techniques will be effective in ensuring the security of their countries. Those who considered Turkey as an African country have corrected their misconceptions and now perceive the country as strong. It is mentioned that the government acts in accordance with the laws, the Korean issue is being discussed in the parliament, and the deputies express their approval with applause. The view that the duty to the homeland is not limited to the national territory and that the absence of 4,500 soldiers will not create a deficiency in the army has been defended. The Ulus newspaper is another publication presenting a different perspective on the Korean issue. The newspaper states that the support provided by member states, if left to their own decisions, could complicate peace, and additionally, if not considering national security, there might be inadequacies in the defense aspect. It points out that while some members act selflessly in terms of support, others prioritize their own interests. The article suggests that this situation could be a cause for the outbreak of a third world war and, if necessary, the use of atomic bombs. The support of Turkey for the decision of the United Nations has been positively acknowledged as contributing to the country's promotion. However, criticisms have arisen regarding overlooking security deficiencies, deciding on the form and amount of support without consulting the parliament, not seeking the opinion of the opposition, and providing military assistance when the country is under threat. These actions have been criticized for being contrary to the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey and the United Nations Charter. Supporting the United Nations has been defended; however, the manner and method of assistance have been criticized, with the government's "policy of conducting business without involving the parliament" being disapproved.
