Abstract (EN)

In our constantly developing world, especially after the industrial revolution, rapid and influential steps have been taken in many fields, especially in technology. Computers entered our lives first with the use of electricity and then with the invention of transistors. Nowadays, it is considered that computer technology is not enough and artificial intelligence, which has been quite frequently mentioned in the fields of mathematics and information technologies for a long time, can now become a part of human life. It is estimated that, with its wide range of use, artificial intelligence can interfere with almost every aspect of human life and bring great innovations especially to the fields of medicine, economy, industry, automation and communication. The aim of this study was examined under two headings; general and specific. The general purpose of the study is to examine the consequences of artificial intelligence for physicians, which will be used more extensively in the field of medicine in the near future. This study also seeks to examine the impact of changes in the working conditions of physicians, especially with the use of artificial intelligence for procedures such as diagnosis, treatment, examination and surgery in the near future. In this way, it will be possible to have an idea about the attitudes of physicians towards artificial intelligence in the future, and it will be ensured that the negativities that may be experienced will be prevented with the measures to be taken. The specific purpose of this study is to observe whether physicians will experience dissatisfaction, resistance or prejudice against the use of artificial intelligence in hospitals using a scenario study to be applied to physicians working in hospitals that continue their activities in Elazig. With this scenario study, criteria such as stress, performance anxiety, job commitment and job satisfaction that doctors will display in the face of active use of artificial intelligence have been examined. Two hundred physicians working in hospitals operating in Elazig participated in this study. The results of the study suggest that the status of artifical intelligence (whether it substitutes or complements physicians) and its performance (higher or lower than physicians) together have an impact on the level of stress, performance anxiety, job commitment and job satisfaction that physicians will experience. All the hypotheses were confirmed and it was concluded that physiciansare sensitive to the use of artificial intelligence in the field of medicine and that they may experience difficulties in the use of artificial intelligence in this field in the future.
