Abstract (EN)
The aim of the study is to examine the role of autonomy as an intermediary between perceived parent behavior and peer relationships in adolescents. Relational and descriptive research methods were used in the research. The participants of the research were 444 male and 519 female adolescents who were educated in science, Anatolian and vocational high schools in Şehitkamil district of Gaziantep province. 'Peer Relationships Scale', 'Leuven Perceived Parenting /Adolescent Version Scale' and 'Adolescent Autonomy Scale' were used in the collection of research data. The analysis of the data was carried out through the SPSS 21 package program and the AMOS 22.0 program. Pearson moments multiplication correlation and structural equality model were used to test the objectives of the study. As a result of the research, it was found that autonomy played a partial intermediary role between maternal and paternal behaviors and peer relationships. The results of the research were discussed with other research results in the field paper and suggestions were presented.
