Teacher's opinions on the use of Algodoo program activities with simulation software in science education

Theaim of thisstudy is toexaminetheviews of scienceteachers on theuse of simulationsoftwareAlgodoo program activities in theirlessons. Thestudywascarriedoutwithteachersfrom 25 sciencebranchesworking in Bilecik in the 2021-2022 academicyear. Researchdatawereobtainedwith a semi-structuredteacherinterview form. Theinterview form waspreparedbytheresearcherandwasrearrangedbytakingexpertopinions. Thisresearchwascarriedoutwith a casestudy, one of thequalitativeanalysismethods. Content analysismethodwasused in dataanalysis. As a result of theresearch, it has beendeterminedthattheuse of theAlgodoo program, which is a simulationsoftware on thesubjects in theScience Simple Machinesunit, is a veryuseful program in concretizingabstractconceptsandthatteachersadapttotheuse of theactivities of this program in theirlessons. However, someteacherswerefoundtohavenoknowledge of theAlgodoo program. Whentheseteacherswereanalyzed, it wasfoundthattheiragerangewasover 40 yearsoldand they had deficiencies in theuse of technologyaftercompleting ten years in theprofession. Inlinewiththeresults of thisstudy, suggestionswerepresentedtoresearchersandteachers.
