Abstract (EN)

The current study was designed to elevate the correlation of IL6 321G/T and TNF- α 238 G/A genes polymorphism with COVID19 infection. The patients of COVID-19 are from both genders (including 42 male and 38 female) between the ages of 25-60 years old attending emergency of AL-Shifa Hospital, Kirkuk, Iraq.1 The results demonstrate that the concentration of IL-6 in infected individuals is significantly higher (P<0.05) than in healthy people. On,the, other, hand,(the, results were)showed considerable increase in the concentration of TNF-α in the infected patients compared to the healthy persons. The1concentration of LDH shows a significant (P <0.05) increase in patients1compared to control group. Serum ferritin concentrations in infected patients1were significantly higher (P<0.05) than in healthy people. While the findings showed a substantial (P<0.05) rise in TNFα levels in infected patients when compared to healthy people.About the molecular study, the findings showed1IL6 321 G/T, Allelic genotype (GT) of wild form show result high in patient rather than control (GT 30- in patients 5- control) P. Value of this result is significant (0.0084).
