Abstract (EN)
In the history of the world Scandinavians are known for their immigration and invasions. In particular, the invasions of the Vikings led them to write their names in history. The Scandinavian geography contains various symbols and shapes from all these immigration and invasions. The information that illuminates the Viking era has been obtained from run stones, symbols, writings and pictures from these remains. The run stones and symbols examined in this research were written by the Vikings themselves and in their own language. Today, many cinemas, series and commercials based on Scandinavian mythology are published. In these published materials, stories and symbols that have an important place in Scandinavian mythology are used extensively. In this context, the purpose of this research is to evaluate the meaning and graphical analysis of symbols and runes that are used in media tools such as cinema, series, advertisement and poster, and which have an important place in mythology. Literature review was adopted as the research method of this study. In this context, firstly runes and symbols have been identified. Later on, these symbols and runes that can be reached from the Viking age were evaluated within the framework of the literature.
