Necati Bey is one of the most famous poets of classical Turkish literature. Especially with Ahmed Paşa, Necati Bey is considered one of the two biggest poets of the 15th century by today's researchers who deal with Turkish Divan Literature and the authors of collection of biographies of that century. The aim of this study is to compare the personages in the divans and to determine how and how often these persons are mentioned and explain them by giving examples of couplets. In this study, the personages that Necâtî Bey mentioned in his divan are examined comparatively with Ahmed Paşa's divan. As a result of the study, in Necati Bey's divan 125 (one hundred and twenty-five) personages are found whereas 97 (ninety-seven) personages are seen in Ahmed Paşa's divan. Identified persons and entities, religious figures and beings, historical figures, literary heroes, historical-legendary figures and mythological beings are argued in four parts. Some bibliographic information is firstly given about the individuals who are taken up during the study, then the sample couplets from the divans of Necâtî Bey and Ahmed Paşa about the personages are explained, tables are formed at the end of each part and the knowledge which is acquired is compared.
