Change management efficiencies of school directors (The case of Afyonkarahisar)

This research has been one in order to evaluate the directors Efficency of Change Management in official education instutions (Primary School, Middle School and High School) in National Education Ministry. This research has a comparative scanning type model. As a tool of collecting the data, the scale of effiency of Change Managament of school directors' has been used in this research. This scale (2004) has been developed by Mr. HELVACI. This Survey form has been applied to 304 directors and 419 teachers who Works in Afyonkarahisar in 2016-2017. SPSS program has been used in order to analyze the datas. T-test an done-way Ano-va test have been used in order to analyze the survey datas and Turkey HSD test has been used to specify the group which causes difference. As a result of this research, according to school directors own perspective they are at a high level in specifying the need of charge, preparing the school for changes, applying the change and evaluating the change, but according to teachers' perspective school direc-tors have an average level. These differences in perfectives come frome gender, seniority, duty, school type, education level and in-service seminar differences between directors and teachers.
