Post-cold war era constructions of the nation state and the future of the Baloch question

İn 17th century, the concept of nationalism emerged in Europe, and has spread all over the world within a short time. İn this context, the effects of this movement which has been transformed into ?The Nation-State?, after the First and Second World Wars and especially after the Cold War Era, continue in part till these days. After 1991 with the dissolution of the USSR, the idea of the constitution of new nation-state in Central Asia, has left a serious effect on all the nations living in the region. Nation affected by this situation resorted to various ways and methods in order to achieve their independence.After the collapse of the USSR, U.S, which has become the world?s sole hegemonic power, has paid a close attention and was interested in these nations and in order to gain their independence provided by political, military and economic support. Baloch question which emerged in 18. Century in South Asia, again widened the U.S?s ?Greater Middle East Project? became the agenda among the countries of the region. Furthermore, in 2001 with the U.S invation of Afghanistan the Baloch quastion with the new name (Free Balochistan) has attracted the attention of the international communities. From time to time, the U.S do not ignore to supporting and playing the card named ?Free Balochistan? against it?s rivals in the region.Thus, the U.S will defend the idea of Free Balochistan, in order to prevent the development of countries particularly China, İndia, Russia, İran, etc in the region. The U.S. will continue to impose it?s political intrigues in the regionfor it?s presence be felt.
