Abstract (EN)
Cabin services in air transportation are the most important factor affecting the perceived service quality of passengers. Accordingly, the attitudes and behaviors of the cabin officers to the company they work with affect the service quality and hence the efficiency of the airline. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment of cabin officials. In this study, it was aimed to determine how job satisfaction and organizational commitment affect each other, and whether job satisfaction and organizational commitment perception change according to the demographic characteristics of employees. The sample of the study consisted of 311 cabin officers, who work in 5 domestic airlines, which are defined as the national airline company and the central Atatürk Airport. Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale and Organizational Commitment Scale were used as data collection tool and analyzed with SPSS 19 program. As a result of the study, significant differences were found in the gender, age, institution work year and total working year variables of cabin officers and it was concluded that there was a relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Based on the results of the research, suggestions have been developed in terms of job satisfaction and organizational commitment of cabin officers.
