Abstract (EN)
The study was carried out with 110 students from Şehit Başkomiser Fatih Özdil Imam Hatip Secondary School in Diyarbakır, Yenişehir district in the 2019-2020 academic year. As a method, controlled pretest-posttest experimental pattern model was used. 6/A, 7/B and 8/D class students experimental group with random method; 6/C, 7/A and 8/B class students were selected as the control group. In the research, questionnaire and achievement tests developed by the researcher were used as data collection tool. The same topics, at the same time, by the classical methods for the control group students; explained to the experimental group students using technology and materials. The academic success of the students was measured by applying the pre-test before the application and the post-test after the application. The persistence test was measured 8 weeks after the last test and the permanence of the learned was measured. A questionnaire was applied to the students in order to determine whether there is a significant difference between the students in demographic terms and whether these features affect the academic success of the students. The data obtained were analyzed and evaluated using the SPSS 18 statistics program. In the study, it was concluded that religion lessons taught using technology and materials in religious education significantly increase academic success and permanence in learning compared to religion lessons taught using classical methods.
