Abstract (EN)
The Impact of Sunni-Shiite Conflict in the Codification of History in the Fourth Century AH and the Difference of Historical Analysis of the Al Fitna Al Kubra (Great Sedition) Al Tabari and Al Yaqubi as examples The study dealt with the position of two prominent historians who lived in the third and fourth centuries AH, namely Al Tabari (310 AH) from a Sunni perspective and Al Yaqubi (292) from a Shiite perspective. The study examined their social, cultural and political backgrounds. It also explains the different characteristics of the image of Al Fitna Al Kubra to them. A study dating to the great sedition in the fourth century AH represented by the Shiite Al Yaqubi and the Sunni Al Tabari, as authorized references to monitor the events of the Great Fitna. Perhaps such studies shed light on the value of the first historical sources in the period of Al Fitna Al Kubra. A question could be asked about the credibility of these sources and the value of their narratives, to state that these narratives do not represent authentic accounts of the period I am talking about, but rather belong to a later period and represent the whims of this later period and its trends. This approach enables us to deepen our understanding of the events of the great sedition on the one hand, and to identify more accurately its historians on the other. The research tackles the issue of conflict through the search for the Sunni- Shiite conflict and its impact in the fourth century AH, which represents the founding period for the emergence of movements and movements in an era of chaos and unrest, especially the Abbasid family struggle with the anti-Shiite movements (Shiite opposition). The research concludes that the conflict was inevitable, and that the nature and circumstances of the conflict enabled the Shiites to adopt a policy of secret and organizational action. The policy of the state has changed from the policy of openness to a security policy with the Shiite movements, a policy stemming from the concept of preserving the security and the state entity, which was adopted by the Umayyad and Abbasid states. The methodology of the research proceeded according to the following plan: The nature of the study came as introduction with three chapters, followed by the conclusion and the most prominent results, followed by supplements containing scientific indexes adopted by the research. A brief overview of the methodology of the research plan and its most important sources and references are presented. It followed by an overview of the Sunni-Shiite conflict, in which it follows the impact of the great strife in the emergence of the difference and its inception. The first chapter is a historical presentation of the events of Great Fitna. Chapter II is devoted to the study of the political and military conflict between the Abbasid Sunni state on the one hand and the Qaramites and the Fatimids on the other. The third chapter came to look for the impact of the Sunni-Shiite conflict, in the codification of history in the fourth century AH and the difference of historical analysis of the Great Sedition. I have concluded the discussions in the chapters of this thesis. I have nothing to add but to refer the reader to the chapters and research, to read, to be able to find further outcome.
