A total of 251 IBD patients who met the sampling criteria and who agreed to participate in the study were included. Data; The subjects were administered by face to face interview using the Patient Identification Form, Harvey Bradshaw Index, Simple Clinical Colitis Activity Index, Type D Personality Scale, Morisky Medication Adherence Scale and Inflammatory Bowel Disease Quality of Life Questionare. Permission has been obtained for the research to be made. Data were assessed by Kikare test, t test, Mann Whitney U test and Spearman correlation analysis. Results: The mean age of the 251 patients who participated in the study was found to be = 44,60 ± 1.39, female by 52,6%, male by 47,4%. According to Morisky Medication Adherence Scale; 70.9% of the patients complied with the use of drugs and 29.1% of them did not adapt to the use of drugs. It was found that there was no statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Quality of Life subscale scores of the patients with ulcerative colitis and the subscale scores of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Quality Scale of Crohn's patients(p>0.05). It was found that there was a significant relationship between scores of Inflammatory Bowel Disease Quality of Life Questionare and disease activity index scores of the patients included in the study (p <0.05).A statistically significant relationship was found between the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale of the patients included in the study and the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Quality of Life Questionare scores on a very weak level(p<0.05).
