Abstract (EN)

In this study, we discussed Ebu'l-Ferec İbnü'l-Cevzî, who grew up in the Hanbali sect and adopted the Salafiyya method. Our study consists of introduction and two parts. In the introduction part, the general history of Selefiyya was discussed until Ibn'l-Cevzî lived. In the first part, the life, works and teachers of İbnü'l-Cevzî. His scientific personality and his sect identity were processed. In addition, the inclination and development of Ibn'l-Cevzî to the Salafi-Kelami method, which emerged with Kâdî Ebû Ya'lâ el-Ferrâ in Selefiyye and continued with Ebü'l-Vefâ İbni Akîl, were discussed. In the second part, it is tried to reflect his point of view by discussing the sectarian conflicts and struggles experienced during and before İbnü'l-Cevzî's works in his works. In addition to this, his sects were analyzed according to 73 fate hadiths, their views on the Hanbelîlik, Eş'arilik, Haricilik, Mu'tezile and Şîa sects and the Sufism school.
