Assertations and disputations about the relationship between Stoic philosophy and the science of kalam

There is a more than hundred-years old significant academic literature on the influence of Stoicism, which is a Hellenistic Period school of philosophy, on the kalam tradition from different aspects and grades. This research is accomplished in the sake of necessity of the evaluation of these assertations which are claimed by authors from different periods and understandings, in the framework of meta-thesis. During the analysis of the assertations in the literature; to contribute new perspective to the research domain, to recruit missing and weak parts, to indicate obvious fallacies in the literature and to propose neccesary regulations or alternative analyses are some of the priorities of this work in order to enrich the research domain. In the consequence of the detailed researches, it is detected that the assertaions of the influence of the Stoicism on the kalam tradition, are too specific and created under the influence of ideology-based perspective. Since it is thought that the related assertations are scarcely capable of corresponding certainty requirements of academic knowledge, reached a conclusion that it is necessary to consider discretely the assertions that the Stoicism influenced kalam tradition, in the perspective of available sources at least for now.
