Crossing the context of marriage rites of Kilis

In human life, from birth to death, there are certain transitional periods. These are birth, marriage and death. Among these periods, the one which is most enthusiastic and has the broadest participation is the marriage. Marriage is very important for all communities and it is also celebrated according to this value of importance. In this study that about the province of Kilis, first the field of work is introduced and the change from the past to the present is reflected. In the main part of the study the culture of marriage and beliefs and practices formed around the culture in Kilis are included. The culture of marriage is tried to explain with its prenuptial and postnuptial periods by classifying in different sub-headings.
