Analyzing the verbs expressing sight in Qur'an in terms of polysemy

One word has more than one meaning in many languages. At the same time, there are a lot of words which have the same meaning in some languages. This situation in linguistics has been evaluated in the phenomenon of polysemy. Various factors cause the phenomenon of polysemy. The phenomenon is divided into three groups. These are heteronymy, synonymy and antonymy. The Qur'an which was sent down as Arabic has polysemic words. For example, "nazara", "reâ" and "basara" are the words in the Qur'an and they have been evaluated as polysemic verbs. These verbs have the same meaning which is translated as "to see". But among these verbs, there are same semantic differences. The verb of "Nazara" means "look", the verb of "Reâ" means "see" and the verb of "Basara" means "comprehend by seeing the lowdown of something." These verb in the Qur'an also have other meanings except "to look" and "to see".
