According to the findings of the study; A significant correlation was found between obesity status and gender (p<0.05). The mean value of the non-obese group was 2.90, while the mean value of the obese group was 2.99. Accordingly, the mean age of those who did not have hedonic hunger was determined to be older. A significant relationship was determined between hedonic hunger and excessive food cravings (p<0.05). Accordingly, it was determined that those with hedonic hunger had a greater desire for food. As a result; When evaluating patients who apply to the nutrition and diet outpatient clinic, the background of hedonic hunger should be known and the effectiveness of these factors should be considered in the nutrition plan to be directed to the patient. Cognitive behavioral therapies should be directed to contribute to the treatment plan. For this reason, the subject should be supported by studies to be carried out.
