Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study was to exercise training combined 8 weeks in individuals with patellofemoral pain syndrome. Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome (PFPS), a common cause of anterior knee pain. The study of visual analogue scales (VAS) for pain, a patellofemoral function scale (PFPS), 30 male athletes between the ages of 18-30 years who were diagnosed of people participated. The study included 60 patients who met inclusion criteria. Patients who gave informed consent were divided into two groups by a randomization method. Patients Application group randomized (N= 15) and control group (N= 15) are separated and application groups to 8 weeks 5 days per week for 4 weeks stretching along another 4 weeks followed by stretching exercises, strengthening exercises were performed. Data Collection tools; Visual analogue scale (VAS), which were evaluated for pain, Patients in all groups using the pain VAS, 0 (no pain) to 10 (unbearable pain) is rated among. The research in 8 weeks (5 days per week) the applied during exercise to reduce the pain and strengthens the severity (P<0.05) was determined. Our results a total of 8 weeks (5 days a week) of the applied stretching and strengthening exercises during which reduce the pain, quadriceps femoris to change the angle Q and Popliteal angle in a positive direction (P<0.05), was concluded. However, at the end of the fourth week of the first four weeks of stretching exercises practiced active and passive knee extension and flexion passive significant differences in the value of the hip (P<0.05). As a result of the implementation of the 8-week exercise program in our research in individuals with patellofemoral knee problems have reduced the pain level and wide range of motion which has the effect of increasing mobility has led to a significant increase.
