Early postpartum breastfeeding success and associoted factors

The aim of this Qualitative- descriptive approach in to establishe the breastfeeding nuccess in the early postpartum period and to evaluate the associated factors.The total population of this study was all the mothers who have had their healthy delivery in a private hospital foundation between the dates 1 January 2015- 31 December 2015. The target population (N=100) was the mothers who have already terminated their healthy pregnancy between the dates 20 March 2015- 20 April 2015. Data was collected in 15 minute by calling them with a verbal communication. A quesstionnaire that was prepared by the reseancher and " Latch's breastfeeding diagnostic measurement tool " used in this process. Before collecting this data a written permission was taken from the subject group. In the early postpartum period mothers couldn't nuccess in breastfeeding without taking any techniguel help from the midwives. The highest average level of Latch's score was about the structure of the breast. The educational levels of mothers, type of the delivery and breastfeeding experiences didn't have any effect on the Latch's score. The age of mothers, the weight of newborns and having know ledge about breastfeeding were the variables. That have an effect on Latch's score.
