Rahmi Bey's life and twent two of his compositions' musical examination

This study includes Rahmi Bey's musical career with his life and the examination of maqam and form analyses of his twenty-two compositions selected from each maqam. It is revealed that Rahmi Bey held important jobs out of his musical career in the various institutions and levels and he completed these jobs with the high success, delicacy and precision. It has been determined that throughout his musical career, Rahmi Bey composed thirty-eight compositions. These are shown in tabular form by maqam, method, form, composition and composer names. By choosing one composition from each maqam, it is shown that Rahmi Bey used twenty-two different "maqams" and nine different methods with analyses of maqam and form. In the process of making the maqam and form analyses of the chosen twenty-two compositions, the same method is used with Prof. Mutlu Torun's lecture notes entitled "Türk Müziği Makamlarına Analitik Yaklaşım" and "Eser Analizi". By conducting a maqam analysis of the twenty-two compositions selected for the study, the melodic nuclei that make up the transitions and transitions used were identified and shown by the method of figures. The form analysis of these compositions is also been examined and the form and structure of the compositions are shown in detail with the shapes method.
