Abstract (EN)
Camlihemsin; It is a charming town on the skirts of Kaçkar Mountains, 20 km inland from the coast where the Fırtına Stream flows between the Pazar and Ardeşen districts of Rize province. It is thought that this study will be effective in transferring the experiences with the local people to the academic life, to some extent, in the study named "Wedding traditions in Rize Çamlıhemşin and analyzing the Folk Songs at Weddings" in order to present a cross-section of the lives of the hamshenis people living here. In this study, geographical, social and cultural factors related to the region were evaluated and a mirror was held in the light of history and geography. With literature studies and information obtained from resource persons; The role of horon, tulum, folk song and wedding traditions in the life of Çamlıhemşin people has been examined. Horon varieties, which are frequently used in weddings, are noted. Some unknown folk songs and recordings were recorded in this study. It is possible to see the liveliness of nature in the hamshenis people in the interviews and videos watched. This ancient community, who came to Anatolia from Central Asia, has a lot in common with the Turkish tribes living in other parts of Anatolia in the wedding traditions. These customs have been kept alive until the rams with apples on their horns taken to the bride's house, the giving of open meals to everyone at the wedding house, the dowry chest, the continuation of the celebrations with sherbet and sweets, the playing of middle game-style games and the high tolerance of the people. Recitation of folk songs as seven syllables in mani style shows the power of Turkish folk literature. Although the Hamshens, who use Tulum, Folk Song and Horon at every stage of their lives, cannot keep their old customs alive, it is obvious that they have not forgotten those days. Keywords: Folk Song, Hamshen, Wedding
