SPSS 21 package program was used for data analysis. In order to determine whether the data is normally distributed or not, the "Normality Test" was carried out and it was determined that the data were normally distributed. Among the parametric tests, Pearson Correlation test, t-test and One Way ANOVA test were used for comparison analyses. In addition, multiple linear regression was used to examine the variables predicting romance and mate choice. In this study, it was determined that there were differences in scale scores according to gender, age, academic year, income status, parental attitude, parental education level, romantic relationship status and longest relationship duration. In the negative direction between Coexistence and opposite poles and self-perception; positive direction between idealization and self-perception; positive direction between full confidence and self-perception and self-directed perfectionism; between idealization and self-perception and perfectionism towards others; There is a low negative correlation between polar opposites and perfectionism towards others. There is a low positive correlation between coexistence, one and only truth, love enough, opposite poles, total trust and total rest, and perfectionism determined by others. It has been determined that perfectionism determined by others has a positive and significant effect on romance and mate choice.
