Özet (EN)
The main objective of this research is to study the science courses of the "Systems in the body of our unit with the success of student teams achievement methodology, the impact of the academic achievements of the sixth grade students. This research was carried out of for five weeks in the spring semester of the 2013-2014 academic year with the sixth grade students studying at Ismet Pasa Secondary School in the province of Kovancılar, Elazığ province, affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. The research group consisted of 52 students studying in 6/A and 6/B brances. 6/A branch test group and 6/B control group were selected randomly among groups. In order to create heterogeneous groups "Preliminary Test of Systems Achievement in our Body" test, which was prepared at the beginning of the application, was applied as apreliminary test. The application experiment consisted of cooperative learning model using the Teams methodology and the control group using the existed methods in the current curriculum. Pre-test post-test in the study was applied by the experimental design researcher with control group. At the end of research; both groups were applied by the researcher as a final test of "Success of Systems in our Body" Test. Percentage, frequency, arithmetic mean, standart deviation, and t test were used in the analysis of the data. Independent Sample t- Test was used to determine whether there was a difference between the scores of the two independent groups, t-Test of Dependent orneklem was used to evaluate the academic achievement of each group before and after training, and p< 0.05 was considered significant. It was determined that the difference between the control and experimental groups' averages of the Academic In-Place Test scores in the Systems In Our Body was not statistically significant before the application. It was determined that the difference between control and experimental group after the application. As a result, ıt ıs seen that the student teams achievement method of the cooperative learning model is more effective in increasing the academic achievement of the students than the existed methods in the current curriculum.
