The aim of this study was to determine the psychosocial adjustment levels of fibromyalgia patients. Descriptive analysis (percentage, mean, standard deviation), Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal Wallis H test and Spearman Brown correlation coefficient were used for data analysis. When the psychosocial adjustment of the patients was examined, it was determined that 42.9% (n = 30) had poor compliance and general satisfaction (r = -0.580; p = 0.000), anxiety level (r = 0.448; p = 0.000) and depression level (n = 30). (r = 0.506; p = 0.000). 55.7% (n = 39) of the patients had a high risk of depression and 77.1% (n = 54) had a high risk of anxiety. As the anxiety and depression levels of fibromyalgia patients increased, their psychosocial adjustment deteriorated. Psychosocial adjustment level was found to be worse in patients with high risk of depression (t = -3.58; p = 0.001). According to the findings of the study, close follow-up of patients in terms of anxiety and depression, cooperation with consultation liaison psychiatry unit, and psychoeducation for patients were suggested.
