Leisure time education in Islamic religion in the light of verseand hadith

This study aims to examine the components of leisure education such as personal awareness, leisure awareness, time management, leisure skills, social interaction skills, motivation, and problem-solving. This is examined in the context of the first two main sources of Islam, the Quran and hadith-i sharifs. The Qur'an and the Hadith form the framework for this study. The components of leisure training were first examined in the context of the Koranic verses. The results were explained based on the ten Tafsir books which are given in the investigation method. Among the findings identified in the comments section, the most common findings were verses for the "social interaction skills", "time management" and "leisure skills" components, while a small number of findings were found for the "personal awareness", "leisure awareness", "problem-solving" and "motivation". The hadith-i sharifs were examined as part of the study using nine hadith-i sharif books, which are known as Kutubi Sitte. The results that were found were explained using hadith-i sharif's explanatory commentary books and related studies. Among the results identified in the hadith, section the most common findings were "social interaction skills", "time management" and "leisure time". There were identified only a few hadiths on the components "personal awareness", "leisure awareness", "motivation" and "problem-solving". As a result, it was concluded that the verses and hadith that were examined in this work explained and supported the leisure education components in a positive way. In addition, in this context, it was established which things the Religion of Islam considers appropriate and what it does not consider appropriate.
