Vocational music education with voice education at undergraduate level investigation of the piano accompanying status in institutions

In this research, vocational music education, which is given at undergraduate level in Turkey, was used in the institutions, there are voice training/singing, piano/piano accompaniment instructors who work in the light of their opinions, a due diligence on whether piano accompaniment is actively used to do this, by determining what are the comon sides and differences based on institutions, the situation it is intended to reveal. In the study conducted by qualitative method, interview technique using, depending on the subproblems, data, in the light of the opinions of teaching staff the data has been reached, the edited data has been processed by content analysis and the piano accompaniment has been the contrubition of its use to voice education has been determined. Th study group of the study; 2011- fort he spring semester of the 2012 academic year, the State Conservatory of Performing Arts Departments of Fine Arts Education. It is actively working in the undergraduate programs of the Department of Music Education in total, 32 voice training/ singing piano/piano accompaniment/accompaniment teachers from consists of. As a result of research, it was found that piano-accompaniment voice training provides students with and contribution to the teaching staff who are active in the teaching process in terms of the importance of piano accompaniment and it is aimed to provide.
