The current research aims to identify (the degree of physical education teachers' possession of teaching competencies in the city center of Duhok). As well as the significance of the differences according to the demographic variables (gender, certificate, experience), The extent of the trend towards the scouting movement among physical education teachers in the center of the city of Duhok, and the significance of differences according to demographic variables (gender, certificate, experience), The relationship between teaching competencies and a tendency towards the scouting movement among teachers of physical education in the city center of Duhok. The descriptive approach was used by the survey method, and the research sample was selected using the snowball method, and their number was 170 male and female teachers. The researcher used the scale of teaching competencies prepared by (Al-Rawhi and Al-Hanai, 2013). There is an appropriate measure to measure the second variable, which is (the trend towards the scouting movement), which was prepared by (Shana'a, 2014). After that, the researcher carried out a number of scientific procedures to ensure the possibility of relying on the two scales in achieving the desired research goals, which are (honesty, stability, objectivity). (The physical education teachers in Duhok city center) were distinguished by a good level of teaching competencies. In addition to the presence of morale according to the variable of sex and the absence of differences according to the variable (certificate, experience), the physical education teachers in Duhok city center were distinguished by a weak level in the trend towards the scouting movement. In addition to the absence of differences according to the variables (gender, certificate, experience), the absence of a correlation relationship between teaching competencies and the trend towards scouting among physical education teachers in the city center of Duhok.
