Abstract (EN)

"Culture" and "commitment" are among the topics on which organizations dwell the most recently. The reason for this is that organizations are forced to compete against one another for more profit and market share in the competitive environment in the ever developing and changing world and also that they are led to give more importance to human resources and to invest in it while making the most of the present labor force. In order to ensure this situation, the perceptions related to "organization culture" and "organizational commitment" which are to be created in the organization employee are more important than before. This study lays emphasis on the organization culture and organizational commitment from the point of educational institutions where human resources are highly significant by searching the relation between "organization culture" and "organizational commitment" with regard to a foundation university. Suitable for this purpose, first the conceptual frame of organization culture and organizational commitment is discussed, and then the relation between these concepts and the data derived from the questionnaire study carried out with academicians working in a foundation university is evaluated in the study.
