Abstract (EN)

Since ancient times Turks have created a culture system of their own in Central Asia and transferred it to other generations with various elements. This cultural elements appear in different ways to us. Sometimes with archaeological excavations, sometimes with oral literature, sometimes with belief systems. The burial tradition, which has an important place in the Turks, is one of the most important elements that make us aware about the cultural existence of the period, as it allows the person to be buried with his belongings. Again, many mythological figures provide us with a lot of information about the old Turkish belief, life and cultural life. How and why beliefs emerged at that time and what they mean in everyday life are explained by these figures. With this study, what kind of information can be obtained from the material and mythological elements of ancient Turkish culture and how these elements emerged will be tried to be explained in this thesis.
