Abstract (EN)

Republican People's Party, established in September 9, 1923 has ruled The Republic Of Turkey in it's decision-making course from 1923 to 1946 as the only arbiter party. In 1923, an inspection union by the name of "Party Inspectorate" was established in order to prevent negative situtions such as " oppositions in both party and non-party issues which was caused by being the the only arbiter party in the ruling of Turkey at the time". The Party Inspectorate was also established in order to inspect and examine the party's organization also it's studies and provide a better, more firm structure for it's central authority. By diving the country's provinces as zones, inspectors and parliamentarians were able to inspect this "zones" in various fields. Each parliamentarian was assigned to inspect his zone twice. The importance of The Party Inspectorate Committee raised quickly and it both became a center for inspection and a "voice" for people's requests and complaints. The zone inspectors who also inspected community houses which were built in 1932, gained enough power to inspect problems and any inconvenience that was happening within the country. With the regulation made in 1935, this committee was made more active. This work which was made between 1935 and 1950 with the inspection reports made by party inspectors and the parliamentarians of Izmir gives us insight on various fields such as the process of party organization in Izmir, community houses, social events, culture, economy, education, sports and health.
