Abstract (EN)

The process of anonymization, which is the most important feature of folk music, has allowed folk songs to come to this day with verbal transfer without knowing its composer. Anonymity and oral transmission have brought melodies to the present, and have undergone melodic, theoretical and rhythmical changes. These changes are called "Variant". The people of Konya haven't kept away from music with "Konya Oturakları" (traditional meetings with music) and have made them traditional.Konya folk songs was performed in tone modulation, mediant-instrument , broad-method with the influence of the Mevlevi music. These structures, which were applied consciously or unconsciously within the local music of Konya performers who gave their hearts to music, have enabled the creation of many variants in folk songs through oral transfer. The performance of the tunes in the region, which also takes form according to the musical talents of the local artists in Konya, differs with the performance recorded by TRT.Based on these reasons, the reasons of variance of Konya folk songs and literature review of the performances of the five folk songs of the Konya region in TRT and the regionhave determined the differences in tone, style and melody with viewing semi-structured interviews and visual and auditory material analysis. The purpose of this course is to reveal the musical richness of the region performing the music by examining the reasons of variance and musical structure of Konya folk songs.
