The effect of the pandemic on the purchasing behavior of consumers in the Turkish retail sector

People have lived through difficult types and periods throughout history. These processes have also changed their lifestyles in order to both adapt and continue their lives. The pandemic period that entered our lives with Covid-19, which affected the last world, also affected everyone's lives and led to the acquisition of a new lifestyle. One of these effects is the formation of new consumption ways and the development of consumer behavior on the purchasing behavior of consumers. In order to reveal this message, it is important to investigate and reveal the lifestyles of consumers before and after the pandemic. Thus, information and research on the behavior of consumers will create an idea for the future of the present. In this process, the Covid-19 process and the transition to the lifestyle in consumer behavior with the researched technology was evaluated in a conceptual framework. In addition to the research, the evaluation was made with the survey study, respectively. As a result of the studies, it was revealed that consumers show stocking behavior, the balance of supply and demand changes, they turn to digital purchasing platforms, they experience panic in receiving support, and that institutions and consumers attach importance to corporate social responsibility studies. If these trends continue for a long time, it is expected that there will be changes in the lifestyle of the consumers and the supplier and suppliers of the supplier.
