Abstract (EN)

This study aimed to evaluate the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of parents who have children between the ages of 12 and 14 regarding nutrition. The research was conducted using a cross-sectional survey design. The "Parents' Nutrition Knowledge, Attitude, and Behavior Questionnaire," developed by Ergin (2016), was used as the data collection tool. The sample consisted of 101 parents. The data were analyzed using the SPSS 23 program. According to the findings, parents' age, education level, gender, child's health status, and dietary habits were found to influence their nutrition-related attitudes and behaviors. Additionally, statistical analyses revealed that certain demographic factors significantly affected parents' nutrition attitudes and behaviors. As a result, it was determined that demographic characteristics have a notable impact on parental nutrition behaviors.
