A research on the offecting level of technologies using in the office management to labour psychology and social relations

Today, rapid technological developments and changes have affected the organizations dramatically. Fast produced informations and technology has brought differentiations and complexity to the human demands and preferences. In the globalized world, the enterprizes that want to survive and develope themselves have to follow the technological developments closely and employ the personnels that can use this technology.In contemporary management concept, the offices undertake the part of the brain in any organization. The offices that keep, process, present and store every kind of datas and informations, needed by the managers, have to use the office management systems effectively and productively in order to conduct these activities paralel to the developing technology.This study has examined positive and negative effects of technology, which is constantly evolving in information age we live in, on human psychology and social relationships in the event of being used in office management. In doing so, firstly it has been tried to explain the development process of technology historically. It has been analysed social, political and economical events experienced at historical times and their effects on the development of technology comparatively. It has been described basic concepts related to technology and its functions, and explained business life that is changing with technology, the concept of information, information processing and the development process of information society.Secondly, it has been examined basic concepts and methods related to management, offices and office management. It has been tried to explain the introduction of information systems and office automation, effective communication methods in offices, new approaches to organization of offices, concept of virtual office and working methods of virtual offices. It has been examined mindset, adoption to work, educational status, psychological and social structures of employees, and tried to explain which of these are positively affected by technology and which of these positively.In the last part of this study, a survey has been conducted in order to measure the impact of technology on office management in the public sector. With this survey, it has been explained the physical conditions, workloads and education status of employees working in the offices, tools and materials they used, and the psychological and sociological effects of these factors on employees.Keywords: Technology, Bureau, Management, Bureau Management, Social Life, Psychology
