Abstract (EN)

This study was planned to investigate the tolerance of saccarose according to age and body mass index in non-diabetic individuals aged 18-30 years.A total of 39 questions including demographics, anthropometric measurements, nutritional habits, and blood sugar scores was used in this study.Individuals will measure fasting blood glucose and calculate insulin. Individuals was given 60 grams (15 cubes) of sugar. After the sugar is given, 1st, 2nd and 3rd hours measurements was made. All blood rates are further correlated with age and body mass index. As age increases, insulin resistance is more likely to occur. As the age increases, fasting blood glucose, insulin, 1st, 2nd and 3rd hours blood sugar rates are also increasing. As the body mass index increases, possibility of insulin resistance is higher. As the body mass index increases, fasting blood glucose, insulin, 1st, 2nd and 3rd hours blood sugar rates are increasing. As the age and body mass index increase, the possibility of insulin resistance develops. Therefore, the risk of developing diabetes is also increasing in the future.
