This research covers the relationship between borderline personality traits, perceived parental attitudes, childhood traumas and difficulty in emotion regulation for adults aged 18-65. " used. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS 24) package program was used to analyze the data collected from the scales. As a result of the research, when the mediating variable role of parental attitudes and childhood traumas in the effect of borderline personality traits on emotion regulation difficulties of adults is examined; It was determined that the dimensions of maternal overprotection, paternal overprotection, emotional abuse, physical abuse, emotional neglect, physical neglect, and overprotection/control dimensions of childhood traumas had a partial mediator role for relationship between borderline personality traits and difficulty in emotion regulation.
